Police, firefighters and paramedics from Lake Forest responded about 2:41 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 to a report of a rollover crash involving a garbage truck onto a person with entrapment at Sheridan Road and Ringwood Road in Lake Forest.
Fire command called for Ernie’s Towing to assist with extrication based on the report of the crash conditions. Firefighter/paramedics worked with extrication tools to free a person from a garbage cart — possibly a Cushman Haulster type vehicle. The victim’s legs were trapped under the equipment.
This afternoon at approximately 2:40PM the #Lakeforest Police and Fire Departments responded to a municipal vehicle rollover with the occupant pinned underneath the vehicle at the intersection of Sheridan & Ringwood. The victim was transported to Lake Forest Hospital.
Black ice was reported on roadways in the area.
