Winona Ryder is ready to let go of her longtime San Francisco home after a 25 years of ownership. According to Variety, the Hollywood veteran recently listed the three-story Dutch Colonial for just under $5 million.

Located on a hill in the city’s tony Cow Hollow neighborhood, the charming residence features three bedrooms and two full and two half bathrooms, with views of both the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. Originally built in 1902, it still retains much of its original detailing and charm, including leaded windows and inlaid hardwood floors. The main entrance is tucked away to the side of the house, with a bright red front door that opens onto an airy foyer. Beyond a set of wide-plank wooden stairs, there is a street-facing formal sitting room with bay windows and a stately fireplace; a second, more casual family room toward the rear of the home also boasts a set of bay windows and fireplace.

The Golden Gate bridge is visible from the back porch and yard.

All three bedrooms are located on the top level of the 3,140-square-foot residence, though two of the three can easily be combined for use as a main suite. Between the two rooms, there is a marble-fronted wood-burning fireplace, a walk-in closet, and an en suite bathroom with a claw foot deep-soaking tub and white subway tiles. Glass sliders from the suite lead out onto a narrow balcony that overlooks the bay.

The bedroom offers more great views.

The property’s real highlight is its backyard (a rarity in densely populated San Francisco), which features a brick terrace and a small wooden deck with a fire pit. Tall mature trees help to keep prying eyes out. At present, Ryder still maintains homes in both Los Angeles—a Mediterranean villa in the celeb-favorite Outpost Estates neighborhood and a bungalow in Beverly Hills—and in New York City.
