“The New Media Film Festival seemed like an outlier when it started in 2010, with their strange categories like web series, 3D storytelling, digital comics... Now all of a sudden these phrases are the new normal", said Oscar Winner Nick Reed. The addition of Virtual Reality and Drone categories is showing the quick adaption and dictating the tempo to the bright future that NMFF is always looking to the create. "Challenging creators, the market and the audience to discover new storytelling. There are not many festivals pushing the limits like this!” – added Reed.

A total of $45K USD in awards will be presented at the festival next year, that will be held in June 7, 8 & 9th, 2016.

Besides the highly-anticipated film festival, the company have some other accomplishments as well. A 2D channel that is free to watch is an exciting addition - providing a wide range of channels from Comedy Central to The Wall Street Journal and Business Insider, the website allows anyone to customize their channels in their own way.

All in all, the New Media Film Festival is a great way to showcase your talent and ideas. Everything a young movie creator needs.
