Police and firefighter/paramedics from Wonder Lake responded about 9:01 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 to a report of a crash with entrapment at Wonder Lake Road and White Oaks Drive. Initial report was at least four people injured with victims trapped and a vehicle smoking.
Firefighters found no crash at Wonder Lake Drive and White Oaks Road, but then found the crash at Wonder Lake Road and White Oaks Road.
The first fire crew on arrival reported two vehicles with heavy damage and one vehicle off into a ditch. The crash involved a pickup truck and a blue sedan.
Woodstock and Richmond paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene based on the description of the crash. A McHenry ambulance and a LifeNet helicopter were requested to the scene by 9:09 p.m.
A fifth ambulance and a second medical transport helicopter were requested by 9:11 p.m. A Hebron ambulance was assigned as the fifth ambulance. A Mercyhealth REACT Helicopter from Rockford was assigned as the second helicopter.

Firefighter/paramedics were working with extrication tools at the scene at the intersection of two residential streets. A Woodstock truck crew was assigned to assist with extrication at 9:19 p.m.
At least one patient was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Condell Medical Center.
McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
