Kenyan outfit, Tusker FC, were in a state of mourning after hearing the news of the demise of one of their former footballers, Stephen Owusu.
Owusu featured for Tusker FC and Wazito as a striker. He lost his life at 37 due to illness.
In an interview with Capital Sport, the CEO of Tusker FC expressed his sadness at the news.
“We were informed of the death of Owusu yesterday and we are quite saddened as a club. He is a player who served the club with utmost dignity and gave everything for the shirt. It is a sad loss and we pray for the family at this difficult time.”
