Illinois State Police and firefighter/paramedics from Schaumburg responded about 2:43 a.m. Friday, October 23 2020 to a report of a serious crash with entrapment after a blue passenger car rear-ended a semi-trailer truck on northbound IL-53/I-290 near Golf Road.
Firefighter/paramedics worked with extrication tools to free two people from a crashed passenger vehicle with passenger compartment intrusion by the rear of the truck to the dashboard. At least one of the victims was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
