Princess Elisabeth of Belgium
The 19-year-old Princess of Belgium is already well and truly in training to become the next Queen, attending the same military school as her father, King Philippe, and giving a speech to a group of hundreds of well-wishers, including fellow 18-year-olds, at her milestone birthday party.

Princess Catharina Amalia of Netherlands
The eldest of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands' three daughters, Princess Catharina Amalia has been raised in the knowledge that she will almost certainly be Queen one day, following the abdication of her grandmother Queen Beatrix in 2013. She made headlines in her home country recently after it was revealed she would be receiving state funding from 2021.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway
Another history-maker, 17-year-old Princess Ingrid would become Norway's second ever Queen when she ascends to the throne after her father, Crown Prince Haakon. The first Queen was the 15th century Queen Margaret, so it would be quite the feat.

Princess Leonor of Spain
The eldest daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, 15-year-old Princess Leonor will become the first Queen Regnant since the 19th century if she ascends to the throne. Her ascension is not guaranteed, yet, however, since a younger brother could still displace her. Fluent in Spanish and English, she's already accompanied her parents on several official outings, and has even given a speech on her 13th birthday, reading the first article of the Constitution of Spain at the Instituto Cervantes in Madrid.

Princess Estelle of Sweden
Nine-year-old Estelle is actually second-in-line to the Swedish throne, after her glamorous mother, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. She made headlines in January after a skiing accident, and again then in February with the launch of a new eponymous foundation dedicated to promoting the arts. She will make history upon ascending to the throne, as her younger brother, Prince Oscar, does not take precedent ahead of her. As such she is the first Princess ever to ascend to the throne ahead of a brother.
