On the west side of Liyue, Genshin Impact players can find Lingju Pass, an area filled with water and ruins. In the middle of Lingju Pass sits several pillars to be activated with Geo abilities.
Genshin Impact guide: Lingju Pass Geo puzzle solution
You’ll need to do a variety of things to unlock the Geo pillars

Most of the pillars are either out of reach or blocked off by barriers that require completing a puzzle to open. Keep in mind that you’ll need a Geo character, like Noelle, Ningguang, or a Geo-attuned Traveler. You’ll also need an Ameno character, like Jean, Sucrose, Venti, or an Ameno-attuned Traveler.
The first Geo pillar is by the large tree over the water. To break the barrier on it, you’ll need to run over all the nearby red flowers in the ground. They’ll rise up from their position and explode. After doing this, the barrier will break and you can use Geo on the statues.
The second Geo pillar is to the west. To break the barrier on it, you’ll need to put weight on both of the nearby circular plates. You can do this by using Amber’s ability, Bunny Baron. Place the bunny on one circle and stand on the other circle. You can also use this using the Traveler’s Geo ability to place the glowing boulder on top of one of the platforms. Once you do this, the pillar will unlock to be activated.
The third Geo pillar is to the east, opposite of the second one. To break the barrier, you have to activate the nearby clover windmill with an Ameno skill, either equipped by Venti or your Traveler.
The fourth Geo pillar is straight up the stairs, across from the first pillar and does not require a puzzle to activate.
Once the four pillars are activated, a gale of wind will blow from the center of the area, allowing you to fly up to the last remaining Geo pillar.
After you light up all the pillars, one Precious Chest and two Exquisite Chests will appear as your reward.
