Rosie van Cutsem and Lucia Ruck Keene collaborate with Brora

Troy London and Brora have created a Fair Isle knit just in time for the 10th anniversary of the Prince of Wales' Campaign for Wool

As the mercury drops, it's all about the cosy, cosseting embrace of the Fair Isle knit. It's something that British brands Brora and TROY London know well, having collaborated on a new design made using soft lambswool.

'My sister Lucia and I have always coveted Fair Isle knits, probably because we were bundled in them for chilly Scottish picnics from a very young age,' explained Rosie van Cutsem, Co-Founder of TROY London. 'It has been a pleasure to work with renowned experts Brora to bring to life this wonderful timeless design. We are so pleased with the results and are in love with the bolder colours and fine detailing on the sleeves!'

'We are so happy to have worked together with TROY London to create these contemporary pieces,' Victoria Stapleton, Founder and Creative Director of Brora, added. 'The jumpers celebrate the rich history of Scottish Wool and are a modern take on a classic and much-loved Fair Isle design. We are also delighted to be launching the jumpers during Wool Week, which celebrates, promotes and educates so many on the benefits of wool. This in turn helps many small businesses and local farmers whose livelihoods depend on the wool industry.'

Made in one of the oldest mills in Scotland, with a zero-waste process, the collection launches just in time to coincide with the 10th birthday of the Prince of Wales' Campaign for Wool. Established in 2010 to raise awareness raise of the biodegradable benefits of wool, while protecting and promoting British industries.

TROY London was founded by high society sisters Rosie van Cutsem and Lucia Ruck Keene in 2014, and specialises in chic town-to-country separates, like rain jackets, suede gillets and leather-trimmed parkas. Their pieces have become favourites of the young royal set, as well as the Duchess of Cambridge, Poppy Delevingne and Jacquetta Wheeler.

Available online and in Brora stores from 12 October.
