Police and firefighter/paramedics from Park Ridge responded about 9:53 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 to a report that a person was bleeding in the block of 1400 Carol Street. On arrival police discovered that two people were stabbed and secured the scene.
Paramedics from Park Ridge then treated and transported one patient, and an ambulance from North Maine Fire Protection District was dispatched by 9:59 a.m. to care for a second patient.
One of the victims was listed in critical condition and the other victim was listed in “stable condition” Wednesday.
Park Ridge Police Department determined there was no danger to the public, calling the situation an isolated incident.
