"Are any of them going to join Ferrari soon? No."

After the FIA's new guidelines on fuel delivery speed, the engine power at Ferrari is no longer what it used to be. In the short term, they seem to be lagging behind. Since Andy Cowell, head of the engine department at Mercedes, has indicated that he is leaving, he has been associated with the Italian team for some time now.

"As far as I know, he is still working for Mercedes at the moment", according to Motorsport-Total.com, Binotto evaded this. "There are several big names in Formula 1. Is one of them going to make the switch to Ferrari soon? That is not the case"

Binotto says he continues to look for possible reinforcements, but that he is also very satisfied with the adjustments that have recently been made to the team. So he wants to wait and see how last summer's reorganisation works out.

Binotto satisfied with adjustments

"Little time has elapsed [since the reorganisation] and it normally takes a little longer before you start to notice that", says the Scuderia's team boss. So for the time being he is quite satisfied with it.

"People take responsibility and understand the urgency of the situation we are in. Everyone works hard and is determined. We all want to make progress with the car so that we can be competitive again".
