Derek Jeter is ready to step down from his reign over his Tampa, Florida estate, which is nicknamed “St. Jetersburg.” The former Yankees shortstop and his wife, Hannah Davis, recently listed the mansion for $29 million, the New York Times reports. The home was custom-built for the athlete and his family back in 2012, and is the most expensive property to ever be built in the Davis Islands neighborhood.

Every inch of the 30,875-square-foot dwelling is resplendent in luxurious finishes like hardwood millwork and hand-polished Venetian plaster. Situated on 1.25 acres, Jeter’s estate occupies three adjacent lots, with a six-foot-high wall that locals refer to as “The Great Wall of Jeter.” The main house features seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and eight half-bathrooms, with stunning views of Hillsborough Bay. Perhaps one of the most impressive rooms is the grand salon, which boasts a soaring double-height ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows, and multiple sitting areas. A clubroom directly off the grand salon is made for entertaining, with a full-service bar, a billiards table, and several TV screens.

It isn't known how much Brady is paying in rent, but in April, the Tampa Bay Times estimated that the home was worth around $75,000 a month given the going rates of nearby properties.

Other features include a home gym, a movie theater, a wine cellar, an in-law suite, an outdoor kitchen, and two three-car garages. The outdoor space includes a handful of covered porches and balconies, two boat lifts, and an 80-foot saltwater lap pool. Earlier this year, the home made headlines when Jeter rented it to longtime pal Tom Brady. But potential buyers who are also fans shouldn’t expect to run into the Tampa Bay Buccaneer and his wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, at the home. According to the listing agent, the two pro athletes made negotiations so that the Jeters can “list, market, show, and sell the property for sale” during Brady’s stay.
