After three extreme and exciting years, Mercedes-Benz brand ambassador, extreme athlete and professional adventurer Mike Horn has successfully completed his so-called “Pole2Pole” expedition – a trip no one has dared before. The clue? Against all odds, Mike Horn was first to circumnavigate the world vertically, from Switzerland to the South Pole over to the North Pole and back home again. His companions: lots of adrenaline, one ship and two Mercedes-Benz G-Classes.
The Pole2Pole expedition took Mike Horn from Africa via Antarctica to Australia, New Zealand and the Artic. Whether in the desert of Namibia, the virgin forests of Papua New Guinea or in the tundra of Kamchatka – Mike Horn did not take it easy on the G-Class but instead pushed the four-wheel drive vehicle to its very limits.
