BURLINGAME, CA — The City of Burlingame is looking to fill two vacancies on its Traffic, Safety and Parking Commission and began accepting applications for the board on Wednesday, the city has announced.

Commissioners offer ideas and recommendations to the Burlingame City Council and other city leaders to allow them to make informed decisions as it relates to traffic, safety and parking in an effort to meet the best interests of city residents.

The city council will soon discuss the possibility of the Traffic, Safety and Parking Commission meeting twice a month and is likely to appoint a commissioner to a full three-year term, city officials announced in a news release. Incumbents already serving on the commission may re-apply.
