Some designers really do seem to do it all. And there seems to be a cadre of creatives of late who not only fashion interiors but also design wallpapers. Whether the result helps streamline their own workflow or reach a broader consumer audience, their efforts are important to know about. “We love to utilize wall coverings in almost all of our designs,” decorators Penny Francis and Casi St. Julian of Eclectic Home explain to AD PRO. “When sourcing for projects, sometimes finding something truly unique can be a challenge. Creating a wallpaper line of our own gave us the freedom to [make] something one of a kind and true to our aesthetic vision.”
Add to it the fact that such endeavors allow designers like Francis and St. Julian the ability to control scale, color, and of course pattern, and the decision to take on this additional work seems increasingly like a no-brainer. Below are eight designers who have taken their talents to the wallpaper category.
