The Advice Services Alliance is conducting a scoping project looking at the sustainability of the UK’s adviser workforce.

We acknowledge that the sector struggles to attract new people into and retain workers in adviser roles and that there is consequently a skills deficit.

We want to identify the trends throughout the sector relating to recruitment, training and ultimately the retention of advisers and consider the motivation for someone wanting to get into advice work. By uncovering the workforce challenges we hope to discover what the advice sector needs and how it can be supported to foster attractive careers, retain workers and ensure job security.

We are therefore looking for advice agencies and educational institutions to get involved with this initial scoping project to provide a fuller understanding of what is going on at both operational and strategic level.

If you feel that you can provide some insight into this area, we would love to hear from you. Please email Kani Kundu at: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
