Romelu Lukaku could match the single season record at Inter for league away goals scored if he scores against Atalanta a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport highlights.

The Belgian national team striker has netted 15 goals away from home this season in the league and with one more goal he would match the record which is jointly held by Mauro Icardi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who both scored 16 league away goals in the 2017/18 and 2011/12 seasons respectively.

With two goals in the season finale against Atalanta tomorrow evening, Lukaku would ofcourse set a brand new record.

The report goes on to state that Lukaku has 29 goals across all competiitons this season and whilst difficult to reach Samuel Eto’o 37 goals in a single season, the best tally in the past 40 years of Inter’s history, he could get himself close to the Cameroonian if Inter manage to do well in the Europa League.
