Police and firefighter/paramedics from Hoffman Estates responded about 12:39 p.m. Saturday July 18, 2020 to a report of a vehicle crash with pedestrian at 1065 Valley Lane.
Firefighter/paramedics received a report that the driver of a minivan hit a tree and ran over a pedestrian. The pedestrian was trapped under the minivan, and firefight/paramedics rescued the man with an extrication operation while stabilizing the minivan. The man was rushed to a nearby hospital.
A second person, possibly the driver, was also transported to a nearby hospital. Four ambulances were dispatched to the scene, but initially it was not confirmed how many people were transported by paramedics.
