Institutionalize inter-Korean agreements, South Korean President urges lawmakers

Moon Jae-in admits difficulties in relations, but urges lawmakers to meet with their Northern counterparts

South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Thursday urged the country's lawmakers to implement and "institutionalize" inter-Korean agreements, in a wide-ranging speech to mark the inauguration of the 21st National Assembly.

Moon also expressed his desire to hold the first-ever talks between lawmakers from the North and South within the next four years.
