SAN MATEO, CA — The city of San Mateo will resume parking enforcement starting on Wednesday.

Payment at parking meters and all downtown parking garages and lots will be required and enforced, the city announced on its website last week.

San Mateo had suspended enforcement earlier this year amid the coronavirus crisis, but city officials said as it gradually reopens, parking enforcement was another “normal” returning to everyday life.
