Saroj Khan passed away due to cardiac arrest. On this, several Bollywood celebrities were spotted mourning the loss of the masterji including
Saif Ali Khan as he recalled a memory with the late choreographer. In a comment, the 'jawaani jaaneman' actor remembers the day they worked together for his hit song 'Ole Ole' and the day when Saroj Khan was a little extra harsh on his nervous co-star,
Reminiscing the shoot days for the song in Hyderabad, Saif revealed the heroine was facing a bit of trouble with the expressions.
Saroj ji screamed on the mike scolding the actress for not acing the correct mode for the song. Praising Saroj's work, he added that a song with her often became real art.
His wife
Kareena Kapoor, who has also worked with Saroj Khan, paid tribute on
Instagram. She posted a still from one of the films and wrote, “Master ji always told me... perrr nahin chala saktiii toh kam se kam face toh chalaaaaa.That’s what she taught me... to enjoy dancing, smile and smile through the eyes.There can never be another... Dance and expression can never be the same for us actors and for everyone who loved her...Love you master ji. Till we dance again... RIP #SarojKhan,”.
On the work front, Saif delivered several good movies in 2020 such as 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' and 'Jawaani Jaaneman'.
