Looking across the wide expanse of sandy beach that is Praa Sands. Roughly halfway between Penzance and Helston this is one of the beach here has more of a feel of the North Coast with its soft sand and frequent, powerful surf.
This is taken from the far end of the beach, i.e. the end away from all the car parks. Known as Hendra, it is always quieter and can have some of the best surf around.
