We are seeking for best candidates to fill the vacant position:

1. Position: Quality Control Coordinator

Work Location: Papua

Contract: 12 Months

Requirement:

• Minimal education Diploma from related Technical Academy

• Min. 10 years’ experience

• Client management. Capability to interface the Client, managing the contract and the development of the activities.

• Construction sequences and planning. Knowledge of construction sequences for relevant disciplines. Knowledge of activities weight (standard man-hours, expected man-hours) and applicable efficiency (day inches per day, thumbs per day, cube meters per day). Ability to execute construction sequences planning, including the scheduling of the activities, in order to ensure the achievement of mechanical completion in respect of the schedule and the final handover. Ability to implement the right staffing for construction activities and sequences for all relevant disciplines.

• Mechanical operation activities. Knowledge of piping, engines, fluid machines and naval mechanical operation activities.

• Drilling Technology and Procedures. Knowledge of drilling processes, operating procedures and available technology related to the business

• Subcontractor/supplier management and control. Knowledge and ability to follow HOSE contractual aspects related to subcontracted activities. Knowledge of sub-contract management. Ability to set and monitor quantities executed and cost for subcontracted activities as per contractual terms. Knowledge of contractual and legal aspects of the operational country.

• Project coordination and leadership. Capability to define project scope in order to meet the needs and expectations of the interested parties (especially clients and users.). Ability to be guided and oriented to objectives and task accomplishment, producing the greed end results, within the timeframe and budget required, and within agreed parameters of Risk, HSE, Quality. Ability to being in the same time focused on welfare and health of the workforce Capability to coordinate and effectively communicate with the team, as well as with other involved departments, actors and parties.

• Project resource allocation and workload management. Capability to plan and optimise the resources deployment (people, materials and infrastructure required to carry out project activities) in line with the project time schedule ensuring continuous monitoring and control. Knowledge of how to collect data from available information systems, capability to assess the reliability of these data, and capability to represent the relevant data in a clear way.

• Project quality activities. Capability to coordinate the project Quality activities through definition and monitoring of implementation by Project team of Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Plans and Project Quality Procedures, guaranteeing compliance with contractual requirements and ISO 9001 Standard.

• Quality Management System. Knowledge of Quality Management System fundamentals and ISO 9001 standard to approach correctly all quality matters and to manage improvement actions. Capability to integrate all quality-related activities and matters throughout the Company. Capability to master overall quality techniques and methodologies.

• Quality training. Capability to train personnel about Quality issues and methodologies and to implement training programs.

• Control of instrument calibration. Capability to control, calibrate and adjust tools, instruments and other measuring and testing devices used in activities affecting Quality. Capability to protect the instrumentation from damage or deterioration during handling, use or maintenance.

• Industry standards (ASTM, ASME, ACI, UPC, AWS, etc.) familiarity. Knowledge of main Industry standards applicable to the specific product, gained through their application during design/installation/construction activities.

• NDT methodologies and operations. Knowledge of NDT technologies. Capability to manage and monitor all NDT activities in laboratories and /or project/site. Capability to check the calibration of NDT instruments and certification validity.

• Quality control activities. Knowledge of quality control principles and responsibilities of roles involved. Capability to apply Quality Control Plans.

• Quality inspection activities. Capability to plan, execute, report inspection and test according to Quality Control Plan.

• Welding process quality inspection. Knowledge of welding processes. Ability to notice possible welding defects, use test and measuring instruments and monitor any repairs to faulty welds.

Tasks:

• Support the PQM / QCM in defining the Project Quality Control System and in identifying needed project quality control plans and QC procedures in accordance with the Company Quality Management System

• Support the PQM / QCM in planning and allocating Q C Supervisor functions to the various area of the project, ensuring coordination of assigned personnel

• Review Quality Control Plans, verify that tests, controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans an d that personnel has access to all required project documentation

• Check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections and agrees on the applicable operating procedures with the organization in charge of the works

• Review applicable QC procedures, including those relating to special processes

• Check that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, identified, traceable preserved and handled (if needed)

• Verify the implementation of the inspection, control and test notification process

• Check documents certifying tests, controls and inspections carried out and their orderly collection and management, mechanical completion included

• Verify that tests, controls and inspections are carried out by contractors

• Verify the correct implementation and application of Quality Tools

• Provide specialist support to the PQM / QCM in interfacing with the Client and third parties

• Verify the correct application and, whenever necessary, the update of site Quality Control Plans/procedures

• Ensure training of Site Personnel on QC topics

• Verify proper Non-Conformity detection and recording, as well as relevant corrective actions implementation

• Verify the preparation of the Quality section of the final dossier. In case of subcontracted activities, verify the QC section of the dossier is properly collected

• Verify that inspection/control/test reports are verified, recorded, filed and traceable

• Collect and analyse project QC data to be provided to PQM / QCM, also in view of the Project Quality Management Review preparation

• Support PQM / QCM in the management of lesson learned process

• Report Project QC information and data to PQM / QCM by means of Corporate methodologies and tools.
