Starting tomorrow, June 1, the public can start picking up holds at the Mission Library using the new Fraser Valley Regional Library FVRL Express – Click, Pick, Go system.

The new contactless service offers customers a physically distanced way to pick up library holds and return items at the Mission Library and all other FVRL libraries.

Holds will be available to pick up between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday. The Book Drop will be open 24 hours a day starting June 1.

Staff at the Mission Library have spent the last week getting ready for the new system. They have been putting requests into bags so they are waiting for the public when they arrive at the library. More than 550 bags of holds have been put together for Mission customers.

Anyone with questions can visit fvrl.ca. Staff will also be answering the phone (604-826-6610) between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
