The number of new coronavirus cases in Loudoun County has reached 385, but the rate the number is rising appears to have slowed down in the past two days. Whether this is a new trend or just a temporary blip remains to be seen.
The number of new cases rose by 11 on Thursday and another seven on Friday.
In Loudoun, 2,050 people have been tested for the coronavirus. 46 people are reported to be in the hospital locally for the virus.
As of the last update Thursday, eight people had passed away in Loudoun County. Four men and four women, all over the age of 65.
Statewide, there are now 7,491 cases of the coronavirus and 231 Virginians have passed away from related complications.
