Channel Islands company Mercury Distribution has appointed Joel Richardson as its new Commercial Director – a new role for the company as it looks to expand on and off the islands.
Joel brings 25 years of experience to the firm, having previously worked as a General Manager at JJ Fox Trading. He has also run his own business in the fresh produce and fulfilment sectors.
Joel commented: "This wasn’t exactly how I thought my first week in the new role would be, and it is a major challenge, but our teams in Jersey and Guernsey are working hard to make sure customers in both islands continue to be served.
"Our warehouse is well stocked and we are ready to deliver to business partners and our home delivery service using the approved safety guidelines to anyone who needs us."
