Torero Program Board, Grad/Law Student Commons Host Virtual, Social Media Events

Just as remote classes are the norm this semester for all USD students, entities such as the Torero Program Board and the Graduate and Law Student Commons are both taking to their social media platforms to reach their audiences with fun activities to help pass the time while staying at home.

Follow the Torero Program Board on its Facebook page and the Instagram handle, @usdtpb, for daily themes of Make It Monday (DIY crafts and stuff), Tasty Tuesday (recipes), Wellness Wednesday (exercising), Trivia Thursday (trivia) for such prizes as gift cards and more. The themed days are slated to last until mid-May on these days.

Next week, the Graduate and Law Commons will host a Grad Student Appreciation Week's worth of fun activities. Check out Mindful Monday, Trivia Tuesday, Workout Wednesday, Open Mic Thursday and Affirmation Friday. You can do these virtual events and there will also be shout-outs for graduate and law students on social media pages, Facebook and Instagram, @USDGradLife. To nominate a student for a shout-out, fill out this brief form.

TPB and Grad and Law Student Commons are just two of many campus units utilizing social media and virtual opportunities to stay connected to students. Also check out the United Front Multicultural Center, Black Student Resource Commons, Outdoor Adventures, Women's Commons, University Ministry, Career Development Center and more who want to keep the USD community together.
