Collas Crill advises on Bath Street project

Posted: 31/03/2020

Collas Crill has advised Le Masurier on its £70m Bath Street redevelopment project in St Helier, which will accommodate Jersey's second Premier Inn.

Partner Pamela Doherty led the team acting for the developer, Le Masurier, advising on all aspects of the project, including development structure, lease agreement, funding, planning and construction.

As well as the Premier Inn, 144 residential apartments, commercial units and car parking will be built on the site. Additional green space and a new pedestrianised route from the Millennium Town Park to the library will also feature.

In February, Camerons, the main building contractor for Le Masurier, began work on the site, which will regenerate more than two acres of central St Helier.

The £70m investment by Le Masurier will now start to take shape with the removal of the existing buildings and the demolition of structures.
