Odisseia Wines is a Jean-Hugues Gros winemaker's project.

Working for several years in Portugal, Jean-Hugues Gros is an oenologist and consultant for several well-known Portuguese wine houses.

The first Odisseia wines were produced in 2004 and, throughout this time, have been awarded prizes.

The last was the Grande Reserva red wine awarded the Gold Medal at the Mundus Vini Contest last February and Gold Medal at 7th “SAKURA” Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2020.

These wines are produced in the Douro region.

White wines are produced from the grape varieties Viosinho, Rabigato and Códega do Larinho planted between 450 and 650 m in altitude and on granitic soil. For Reserva Branco was selected vines more 20 years old.

For Odisseia Rosé was selected varieties are mostly Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca from vines under 20 years of age.

Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional varieties were chosen for red wines.

Odisseia wines are a novelty in our store, but are already available to order!
