Sparks police investigate parking lot shooting; 1 man hurt

Sparks police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded at about 12:45 a.m. to a report of a shooting at a parking lot on 4005 Moorpark Court in Sparks.

When officers arrived, they met with the victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg, authorities said in a news release.

The victim told investigators that he was shot while at the parking lot and could not provide a description of the shooter.
