Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, whose campaign has been fading fast in recent weeks, falsely claimed during CBS News’ debate on Tuesday night that 150 million Americans have been killed since 2007 from shootings.
“150 million people have been killed since 2007 when Bernie voted to exempt the gun manufacturers from liability,” Biden lied. “More than all the wars, including Vietnam, from that point on, carnage on our streets.”
“And I want to tell you, if I’m elected, NRA I’m coming for you and gun manufacturers I’m going to take you on and I’m going to beat you,” Biden claimed.
Biden’s claim was wildly false as he just made it up on the spot.
Roughly 11,000 Americans are killed every year from gun-related homicides.

Earlier on Tuesday, former White House doctor Ronny Jackson said that Biden’s mental state was “scary!” and that he needed to under “cognitive” testing.

The Daily Wire highlighted Biden’s views on the Second Amendment based on his political record:
Biden was a leading proponent and sponsor of the federal “assault weapons” ban, a subset of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994. Throughout his career, he has generally been supportive of curtailing Second Amendment rights. Biden has also supported mandating five-day waiting periods for gun purchases, as well as closing the alleged “gun show loophole.” Biden supports a ban on the undefinable sub-class of firearms referred to as so-called “assault weapons” — a line of thought that, if taken to its logical conclusion, could lead to the banning of all semi-automatic firearms in America.

Biden’s record, however, is actually much worse on the Second Amendment when his remarks about the issue are examined as he regularly makes embarrassing remarks that show he does not know what he is talking about and that he has fringe far-left views on the issue.
Late last week, Biden made extreme remarks during a CNN town hall event where he called for banning semi-automatic firearms and “clips that have multiple bullets in them,” which would effectively ban nearly all firearms.
“I’m going to do everything in my power in office or out of office to get those assault weapons off the street, which I have done once already,” Biden claimed. “And to get those clips that have multiple bullets in them not for sale, not be able to sell silencers, all those things.”

Biden made similar remarks last September, saying, “The idea that we don’t have elimination of assault-type weapons, magazines that can hold multiple bullets in them, it’s absolutely mindless.”
“It’s no violation of the Second Amendment,” Biden falsely claimed.
Biden made bizarre and incoherent remarks about the Second Amendment earlier this month, saying that kids in schools have to participate in shooter drills “because we’re unwilling to have a rational policy that says you cannot have 20, 30, 40, 50 clips in a weapon.”
“I now have over 58% of the NRA members acknowledging that you cannot own an assault weapon,” Biden falsely claimed. “There is no need for it. You can’t have a magazine that is more than 10 rounds in it.”
The Daily Wire contacted The National Rifle Association (NRA) to inquire about which poll Biden got his statistics from and was informed that Biden’s claims are false because the NRA is a private organization that does not give out information on its members, let alone for polling purposes to serve Democrats’ far-left agenda.
