Pickerington Central (Ohio) took the biggest leap in this week's Top 25 national high school football rankings after beating Elder (Cincinnati) 21-14 in the Ohio Division 1 championship.
Demeatric Crenshaw threw for two fourth-quarter touchdowns leading the Tigers to their second state title since 2017.
Five other teams won state championships last week.
No. 11 Dutch Fork (Irmo, S.C.) needed overtime to win its fourth consecutive 5A title. 2020 Tennessee commit
Jalin Hyatt had 165 yards receiving and three touchdowns and caught the game-winning score in overtime to give the Silver Foxes a 34-31 victory.
No. 12 Chandler (Ariz.) beat Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) in the inaugural Arizona Open Division state championship. It was the Wolves' fourth consecutive state title in Arizona's largest classification.
Dae Dae Hunter rushed for 244 yards and two touchdowns in the 42-35 win.
No. 15 St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) won its second straight 6A championship beating Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, Pa.) 35-13. 2020 Buffalo commit
Kolbe Burrell rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns as the Hawks finished the season on an 11-game win streak.
No. 19 Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, La.) won its first state title since 2014 beating Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, La.) 14-10. 2020 Vanderbilt commit
Donovan Kaufman did it in all three phases. He scored the game-winning touchdown on a 95-yard kickoff return with just under three minutes left then intercepted a pass to seal the victory. He also had a rushing touchdown.
One of the three new teams to the rankings won a state title this past week, No. 24 Thompson (Alabaster, Ala.). The Warriors got revenge on Central-Phenix City (Ala.) in the 7A championship rolling to a 40-14 win. It was their first state title since 1982. Sawyer Pate was named the MVP after throwing for 239 yards and accounting for four touchdowns.
No. 18 Marietta (Ga.) and No. 25 Guyer (Deton, Texas) are the two other teams to join the Alabama 7A state champs in this week's Top 25.

Harrison Bailey completed 23-of-26 passes for 423 yards and five score. He also added a receiving touchdown.
The Wildcats are in the rankings for the first time all year and they are two wins away from winning their first state title since
Jerrod Heard led them to the 4A Division 1 championship in 2013. They have won nine in a row since suffering its only loss on the year against No. 20 Carroll (Southlake, Texas). Up next for Guyer is Westfield (Houston) in the 6A Division 2 semifinals on Dec. 14.
