The defending national champs No. 6 North Shore (Houston) beat Atascocita (Humble) 76-49 and will play Lake Travis (Austin) on Dec. 14 with a spot in the state title game on the line.
Arizona started the Open Division this year and it's only right No. 12 Chandler (Ariz.) played Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) in the inaugural championship. The Wolves won their fourth straight state title in the largest classification beating the Sabercats 42-35.
Dae Dae Hunter rushed for nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns.
No. 19 Pickerington Central (Pickerington, Ohio) beat No. 21 Elder (Cincinnati) to win the school's second state title in three years.
Demeatric Crenshaw threw a pair of fourth quarter touchdown passes to lead the Tigers to a 21-14 win.
In the other Top 25 matchup on Friday night No. 9 Lowndes (Ga.) rolled to a dominant 49-28 win over No. 18 North Gwinnett (Suwanee). They will take on Marietta (Ga.) in the 7A state championship next weekend. Expect Marietta to jump into the Top 25 rankings next week.
