Michael Boarer has been appointed by Standard Bank Offshore Group as Chief Information Officer, based in Jersey.
Michael has more than 30 years’ experience in information technology, leading IT and change teams in banking, telecommunications, logistics and trust businesses. In his new role, he reports directly to Chief Executive Will Thorp and joins the Executive Committee.
Michael has moved to Standard Bank from Ocorian, where he has served as Head of Programme Management for the past year.
Prior to that, he worked for Abbey National Treasury International, Santander and Jersey Post, as well as co-founding e-commerce business Profulfilment.co in 2007.
