Aidan Sezer played an integral part as the Raiders surged towards their first Grand Final appearance in 25 years.

The halfback had to fight for his place in the side and displayed some impressive performances as the Raiders enjoyed a season to remember.

Sezer had to fight hard for his place in the side and suffered a number of early setbacks in the season.

The boy from Bankstown showed his class in the green machine's shut-out 19-0 Round 1 win over the Gold Titans at CBUS Super Stadium however an injury on the eve of the Raiders Round 3 clash against the Knights meant that Sezer had to fight for his place back in the side.

Sezer was named in the Raiders' side to take on the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium and produced a solid performance as the Raiders won a nail-biting contest 12-10.

For the remainder of the season, Sezer was a consistent member of the Raiders team as they surged towards the finals series.

Sezer's most notable performance of the season came in the Raiders' Round 24 win over the Cronulla Sharks at Pointsbet Stadium.

In what was Shark's captain Paul Gallen's last home game, the two sides were hard to separate with both Chad Townsend and Aidan Sezer slotting two field goals to force the game into golden point. However, it was the Raiders halfback who sealed the win for the green machine to spoil the party for the home side.

In November it was announced that Sezer would leave the Raiders to take up a contract with Huddersfield Giants in the Super League. The club would like to wish Aidan Sezer all the best at his new club.
