Canberra Raiders players Luke Bateman and Hudson Young joined Wagga Wagga Mayor Greg Conkey in Wagga Wagga on Thursday, to announce a date for tickets going on sale for their match against the Knights at McDonalds Park on Saturday April 18, 2020.

Canberra Raiders members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets during an exclusive member buying window from 10am Monday December 9, with Knights members having an opportunity from 10am on Tuesday December 10, before General Public on sale at 10am on Wednesday December 11.

Tickets for this year’s match will be available through www.ticketek.com.au Canberra Raiders 2020 members will receive communication via email next week on how they can purchase tickets during the pre-sale window.

Wagga Wagga Mayor Greg Conkey also announced several upgrades to the venue which will be undertaken in the lead up to the match next year, which includes an addition to the amount of seated tickets on both the Western and Eastern sides of the ground. In total there will be close to 2400 seats at the venue and a large number of these will be made available when tickets go on sale.

There are also plans in place to extend the Southern end of the ground standing section, which will help boost the capacity of the venue from 10,000 to 12,000 people.

To improve traffic management for the venue there will also be upgrades to entry and exit points for the venue, with an extra access road being added via the nearby Kooringal Road to improve traffic flow in and out of the ground.
