Two teenagers have been charged with murder and armed robbery in connection with a fatal stabbing on the south side of Indianapolis last week.

Indianapolis police officers received a call about a person who had been stabbed near the 6800 block of Buckridge East Drive at about 2 a.m. Oct. 25. When officers arrived at the scene, they could not locate a victim.

Officers were then told the victim had been dropped off at a hospital. A short time later, officers were told the victim had died, police said.

Detectives located several people who were alleged to be involved, all of whom were taken to Downtown Indianapolis for questioning, police said. Detectives believe the stabbing was an isolated incident.

Carter was booked into the Marion County Jail on Oct. 25 and has a hearing Friday morning, according to online jail records. Crockett was not listed as an inmate in the jail Thursday evening, but also has a hearing Friday morning, records say.
