Transformers Siege Nemesis Prime Revealed

TakaraTomy Mall has a new preorder page up for an exclusive item due early next year. Like death and taxes, it was an inevitability that we would get Siege Optimus Prime in a Nemesis redeco, and in late March, that's exactly what TakaraTomy Mall will be shipping out to customers in Japan!

This redeco appears to be trading in the transformable axe weapon originally paired with the mold in favor of a new redeco of Titans Return Alpha Trion's sword, but is otherwise the same as Optimus Prime. The current photos appear to lack any battle damage at all. That and the absence of cel shading deco make this the first use of this mold in a fully "clean" state.

It's unlikely this release will be limited to Japan. It's not presented as a Generations Selects item, though, so the exact method of its release to Hasbro's markets is unclear at this time. But there's a good chance we'll hear more about this sooner rather than later if it is to be made available worldwide! In Japan, however, preorders are open starting now, and close on October 15, priced at ¥6,000 (or ¥6,480 with the currently applicable 8% tax included).
