Video: Trevor Lawrence highlights The Clemson star was a dominant QB during his prep days in Georgia.
The high school passing game is ever-evolving to the point that quarterbacks establish new records seemingly every week.
To that point, there are few all-time passing leaders on a state level remaining from the 1900s. Five quarterbacks set a state yardage record during the 2018 season. Just four set the record prior to the 2000 season.
The oldest state career passing yardage record belongs to Chris Meidt of Minneota, who set the Minnesota mark in 1987.
The following is the all-time career passing leader in each state, as determined with the best information available.
