December 2028 Birthdays & Anniversaries

Arcadia, North Carolina

Life at The Willow restaurant keeps Logan and Shelley Gates-Watson busy. It is one of the places to be in Arcadia.

Not that they mind. It is a relief to know they have a successful business that will allow them to provide everything their kids need. Their daughter Lily will be graduating high school in May and they do have the money to send her off to university, thanks to the restaurant.

The customers always seem happy and have good things to say when Logan checks their tables.

“Last night was a really good night at the restaurant,” Shelley says the next morning at breakfast. “Some people from out of town came to eat.”

“It’s good to stay busy,” Logan agrees. “But I think we’ll close early tonight.”

Shelley gives him a puzzled look. “Close early? Why?”

He stands and smiles at her as he picks up his empty glass to get more orange juice. “Because I need to give you a night out at a restaurant we don’t run. Happy anniversary, my love.”

Shelley smiles wide at him. “I wasn’t sure if you remembered.” Logan's birthday had been only a couple weeks ago and he seemed to have forgotten what that day was when his family surprised him with a cake after a long day at the restaurant.

“Of course I remember. I didn’t take my birthday off a couple weeks ago, but we will take this night out. It is still the best day of my life.”

  1. Aww, very sweet of Logan to close the restaurant early to celebrate their anniversary. If business is good then what would it matter for one night. The restaurant looks lovely by the way. :)

    1. It surprised me to find that Logan and Shelley had been married for so long already! It seems like not long ago they were teenagers who had fallen in love. :)

    1. It is like meeting them all over again for me too! I get to see what their lives look like now and what paths they may be taking in this new world. :) I just can't start over with a brand new set of Sims when I move to a new game, I love these too much!
