“Weddings can be long days involving lots of moving, eating and drinking,” says Rigby and Peller lingerie styling specialist Josie Fellows. “So, when trying on your lingerie, make sure to move around in it: walk, sit, stand up and stretch. That way you’ll get an idea of how comfortable the piece will be over time.
If your wedding dress comes with a built-in corset, or if Spanx are the more flattering option for the day, then save your bridal lingerie moment until your wedding night. With no gown limitations, you’re free to get a little more creative with a matching set in baby blue, or a pale pink nightdress.
