None of PH pledges fulfilled: Najib
SIPITANG: None of the manifestoes had been fulfilled by the Pakatan Harapan (PH) after taking over the government for 15 months said former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Najib said the manifestoes such as the price of petrol to be reduced, the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) to be abolished, no toll for highway and the price of goods will go down after abolishment of the Good and Service Tax (GST) but none of these were fulfilled by the PH government.

“These are the promises by the hypocrites because they can and good at making promises but are unable to fulfil them.

“The economy also has continued to fall sharply with oil prices, rubber and even the people’s welfare have been cut and some have been set aside for example the warrant for students to buy RM200 a year.

“Welfare assistance to single mothers as well as subsidies for fishermen and smallholders also had been eliminated.

“We instead are asked to drink two tablespoons of palm oil ... although all the people in the country take palm oil but it is not able to raise the price. The people are advised to replace palm oil with bamboo plants,” he said.

Najib who is the chairman of Barisan Nasional (BN)’s advisory board, was speaking at the Umno Sipitang delegates meeting, Sunday. According to Najib, the people are now more depressed because the people could not get the proper assistance compared with the BN government which provided more welfare for the people.

He added that people can now evaluate how well the current government doing compared to BN government and the PH’s victory was because they sowed slanders.

Najib also said that the country debt of RM686 billion has now surged up to RM804 billion which never happened in the country.

“When asked why the debt is increased and their answer will be that it was the BN government’s fault.

“Why they want to blame the BN government… they should do their work as the people are now struggling and their lives are under pressure.

“Today BN is no longer a governing party and it turns out that there is wisdom in unification, and now we are doing a whitewash to the Umno party and the people are now rising to oppose PH.

“If ever the Sabah State government has changed from Usno, Berjaya and PBS, but Umno this time will take back the government,” Najib said.
