Marijuana Business Daily is kicking off this year’s MJBizCon Week in December with a new event that will showcase a global who’s who in the cannabis industry.

The inaugural, daylong Associations Day on Dec. 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center will feature nonprofits, associations and cannabis industry professionals from throughout the world.

“MJBizCon’s Associations Day is the only venue worldwide that brings together such an immensely influential group of organizations making a positive impact in defining how the international cannabis industry evolves,” said Cassandra Farrington, CEO and co-founder of MJBizDaily, which produces the world’s largest cannabis industry business-to-business event.

Groups such as the Canadian Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, Minority Cannabis Business Association, Cannabis Trade Federation, Minorities for Medical Marijuana, Students for Sensible Drug Policy, Resource Innovation Institute and Marijuana Industry Trade Association of Arizona will be represented.

Other participating associations are still to be announced.

Associations Day will consist of access to meeting rooms for open member gatherings and include association programming designed to educate existing members.

MJBizCon attendees can learn about the global landscape from each organization’s perspective. An exclusive, late-afternoon reception will conclude the event.

Associations and nonprofit organizations interested in becoming a part of Associations Day can apply here.

The series of events including and surrounding MJBizCon was proclaimed MJBizCon Week by the Board of Clark County Commissioners and the city of Las Vegas.

The MJBizDaily Cannabis Industry Awards, Investor Intelligence conference and dozens of other events will take place from Dec. 11-13 in Las Vegas.

MJBizCon has been recognized by Trade Show Executive as the fastest-growing trade show for the past four years.
