On June 22nd and 23rd, the Centre For Computing History, Cambridge hosts the annual Synthesized event. This two-day gathering features a large collection of synthesizers all set up for everyone to play on - bring your own headphones! There’ll also be demonstrations of iconic synthesisers and computer music systems of the 80s and 90s including the Fairlight, Greengate DS4 and Eurorack modular.
Alongside the collection there’ll be a handful of manufacturers exhibiting their products.
On Saturday the closing event features a performance by Clarissa Vincent ("girl in a gale") of her own work played with a suitcase of synthesizers.
Tickets to the event also include access to the museum's computer collection.
