Should Jews Stop Wearing Kippahs in Germany?

Because of the greatest crime in history — the murder of six million Jewish men, women, and children — Germans have a permanent moral duty to help ensure that Jews can live securely in Germany. For a while the strict laws punishing antisemitic acts and Holocaust denial appeared to have their effect. Tens of thousands of Jews from Eastern Europe and Russia have settled in Germany in recent decades.. About 120,000 Jews now live in that country; if one also counts the non-Jewish spouses and children who live in a Jewish household, there are about 250,000. But the numbers have not risen since 2014, the year before Angela Merkel allowed one million Muslims into Germany.

The latest dismaying news is that there have been so many attacks on Jews that the German government’s commissioner to combat antisemitism, Felix Klein, has urged Jews to avoid wearing kippahs in public.

Klein’s call for Jews to not wear kippot comes a little more than a year after Germans and German Jews participated in kippah marches across the country to protest antisemitism.

According to the Jerusalem Post,https://www.jpost.com/Diaspora/Antisemitism/German-antisemitism-commissioner-warns-Jews-in-Germany-to-not-wear-kippot-590641 ‘the German federal ministry of the interior said there was a 20% increase in antisemitic crimes in the country last year. The interior ministry and security agencies frequently conflate radical Islamic antisemitic attacks with extreme right-wing incidents against Jews.

“According to the interior ministry, right-wing extremists committed 90% of the 1,800 incidents in 2018. The real number of Islamic-animated antisemitic attacks in Germany is not well documented due to authorities characterizing Islamic antisemitism as right-wing antisemitism.

There are several things to be noted here. First, the exceptional duty of the German state to make Germany safe for Jews, whatever it costs in resources, is now being undermined by a defeatism that leads the very man, Felix Klein, who was chosen to wage war against all manifestations of antisemitism, to instead tell Jews to hide their identity in public. Second, this defeatism did not go over well in Israel, where President Reuven Rivlin denounced it, and said Jews in Germany should not be asked to modify their outward appearance; instead, the German government should increase its efforts to prevent and punish antisemitism. Third, the German government has been misleading the public about those most responsible for antisemitic attacks. It is not the traditional far-right, but the Muslims who have been allowed in such numbers to settle in Germany, with one million arriving, thanks to Angela Merkel, in 2015 alone. In April 2018, Felix Klein told the truth when he warned that Jews in Germany have legitimate fears for their safety due to “the influx of almost one million mostly Muslim immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa sparked in 2015 by chancellor Angela Merkel.” A year later, he has decided not to repeat that accusation. And the German government has been acting as an apologist for Muslims by “characterizing Islamic antisemitism as right-wing antisemitism.” There is no way of knowing, from the government’s deliberately describing Muslim antisemitic attacks as “right-wing,” what percentage of such attacks are committed by Muslims, but there is every reason to think, from the steep rise in antisemitic attacks following the steep rise in the Muslim population, that these “right-wing” attacks are mainly the work of Muslims.

There is no reason to be surprised by this. The Qur’an contains many antisemitic verses, which have been usefully compiled by Robert Spencer: “The Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the wellbeing of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); as fabricating things and falsely ascribing them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); claiming that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); loving to listen to lies (5:41); disobeying Allah and never observing his commands (5:13); disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more.”

What should the German government do, instead of telling Jews to stop wearing kippahs in public? First, it ought to vastly increase the number of armed plainclothesmen, working in teams (with backup close by) who will wear kippahs, in order to deliberately attract antisemitic attacks, and then to surprise the attackers by quickly turning the tables, overpowering them, and arresting the malefactors. After a while, Muslims will become sufficiently uncertain of their prey and the number of such attacks should decrease. Second, the government should stop protecting Muslims by calling their attacks “right-wing” and instead should release the true figures on those responsible for antisemitic attacks, so that the German people can judge for themselves the full effect of Merkel’s immigration policy on their society. Third, the people have a right to understand how deeply antisemitism is a part of Islam, instead of having it hidden from them. The Qur’anic quotes about Jews (as compiled above by Robert Spencer) should be the subject of public discussion by government officials, starting with Felix Klein himself. Let the question then be asked of Muslims in Germany: What, if anything, do you intend to do about these dozens of antisemitic verses we find in the immutable Qur’an? What possible answer can Muslims give?

Many Germans will no doubt agree with the late Karl Lagerfeld, who memorably deplored Merkel’s admitting more than a million Muslims in 2015 alone: “One cannot – even if there are decades between them – kill millions of Jews so you can bring millions of their worst enemies in their place.’” A dress designer had a better understanding than anyone in the German political establishment of the effect of that mass migration of Muslims. It’s up to the Germans to recognize that they can either increase the security of Jews in their country, or they can continue to harbor large numbers of Muslim immigrants, but they can’t do both.

I disagree, the CAN do both. Shoot moslems on sight. Bring ’em in …. kill the vile creatures, faster than they can cross the border … they CAN do both.

Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic better realize that muslum apologists/sympathizers are just as much a problem as the f’ing muslums and allah of them should be shown the borders of their respective countries and banished forever at gunpoint.

If Jews are capable of defending themselves and kick the shi it out of those who attack them (like the mooSlimes do) then there is no reason to remove the kipah. Otherwise it’s just dangerous and dumb to keep it on. Being a proud Jew is not worth dying for.
