THE Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) on Thursday filed criminal charges before the Department of Justice against a trader from Tacloban for nonpayment of excise taxes and for possession of counterfeit restored or altered stamps.

The BIR-Eastern Visayas Region charged Paul Cartel Radam, under his Paul Radam Realty and PR Petron filling stations located in Nula-Tula, Tacloban City, for excise tax liability of an estimated P213 million, inclusive of increments.
