  1. Hey Sonia. Again, a nice post.

Here I would like to share my 1 strategy which I apply when I’m bored with my blog.

I visualize my vision. That is, what I want to create with my blog. Suppose, in one of my blog, I want to create a “one stop resource” for them who want to make money blogging.
So when I get bored I try to visualize that vision. And this I get inspiration to keep blogging.

  2. Hi Sonia,

    Awesome Post!

Getting bored is natural. We get bore at some point with what we love the most.

Yes, consistency is the key in content marketing. We do need some tactics in order to keep the pace.

Your tips will not only help to stay in love with our blog but also make us more productive.

    I will tweet your post.

    Thanks a lot for sharing.

  3. These tips are most helpful. I am going through one of those stages, but have been inspired with ideas to get out of the doldrums. I’m going to start with creating a video and taking a drawing class–after I take a week away from the computer and play.

  4. I think what drives people to get bored of your blog is the lack of income! I’ve been through it and it’s really frustrating. When the money started to appear I never got tired of my blog =) The important thing is to never give up! If your dream is big enough you will be able to succeed online.

note:(sorry for my english I am Brazilian)

    • I have a very similar experience. Unfortunately I don’t have a very steady income. When I see some sales I get really excited and publish several posts and then eventually my motivation decreases again.

  5. I’ve been blogging for years, and I’ve started and laid several blogs to rest after I inevitably got tired of them. Some of them were too focused, the content bored me after a while. Some of them were too broad, and I got bored because there was no constraints to keep me fired up.
I’ve recently ended the first iteration of one of the “too broad” category of blogs, and I’m about to launch version 2 – narrower focus, but not too narrow. I’ve been doing a lot of research and planning about how to move forward with round 2 in a more directed way – and I’ve reflected on every point you’ve brought up at some time or other. Solid advice, and I’ll be keeping this post in mind for those days when I sit and stare grumpily at my keyboard, trying to think of something to write about.

P.S. I love your hair Sonia, and I find your voice very soothing. I like to listen to the podcast while I’m working. It’s the right amount of motivating and calming.

  6. Hi Sonia,

These are great tips. From time to time, I experience boredom as well, but whenever I feel this way, I try to remember the reason why I started it in the first place, and soon I get in the groove again.
