Inter currently find themselves ahead in the race to sign Federico Chiesa when it comes to reaching a deal with Fiorentina according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Nerazzurri are competing against their arch-rivals Juventus for the generational talent and have a rough idea of the offer they will make.

As per the report, they will offer €50 million in cash and will allow Fiorentina to chose one of Yann Karamoh or Roberto Gagliardini to be part of the deal.

La Viola are understood to like both players and even made an attempt to sign Gagliardini back in the January transfer window.

As things stand, Juventus are ready to offer €40 million and a player but they are yet to find a player that satisfies the demands of the Florence club.

Chiesa however prefers a move to Juventus over Inter due to the better salary on offer. Juventus are prepared to give him €4 million a season whilst Inter are willing to pay him €3 million.

However, due to Inter being able to give him a bigger role in the team, it could swing his mind in favour of the Nerazzurri.
