Odds are long, but the Pacers are on list of potential LeBron James trade destinations

How would LeBron James look in blue and gold?

The odds aren't strong, according to Bovada, but if the Los Angeles Lakers decided to trade James, one potential destination is the Indiana Pacers.

This Bovada prop best suggests James remains likely to remain in L.A., where he just completed the first season of a four-year contract. His base salaries the next three years are $37 million-plus, $39 million-plus and $41 million-plus, according to Spotrac.

However, with a disjointed Lakers coaching search going on, it seems anything could happen. And the Pacers have enough cap room to accommodate — though perhaps not the assets to swing a deal.

Here's where the odds stood Thursday

Where will LeBron James play game one of the 2019-2020 NBA season?

New York Knicks +700

Los Angeles Clippers +700

Cleveland Cavaliers +1000

Miami Heat +1000

Chicago Bulls +1500

Indiana Pacers +1800

Los Angeles Lakers -600
