A new restaurant is planning on opening this fall in the Ashburn Village Shopping Center on Gloucester Parkway. It will be called Rock ’n’ Claws, and the owner describes it as an Asian fusion grill with a special focus on seafood.
Rock ’n’ Claws will open in the space formerly occupied by At Kaiser, an Austrian restaurant. The location is next to Finnegan’s Irish Pub.
The menu at the new restaurant will include grilled and steamed clams, raw oysters, shrimp, crawfish, lobster rolls and — seasonally — blue crabs. There will also be lamb chops and Vietnamese shaking beef.
Rock ’n’ Claws will feature a full bar and plenty of TVs as well. The vibe will be casual sports bar and grill. Owner Tu Nguyen previous owned the New Season restaurant in Falls Church for 10 years.
